Bagnara’s torrone (nougat) has been handcrafted by artisan producers for over two centuries in Calabria, Italy. The ancient town is located on the Tyrrhenian coast. The recipe was brought to the region by the Spaniards and has been passed down from family business to family business (and there are a few) over the course of two hundred years.
Honey, toasted almonds and pistachios are the stars of this tasty-chewy mini-sweet. These chewy nutty-minis are a treat for us here at the Saucery. They’re fun, festive and to be enjoyed this time of year after dinner or as a sweet treat at your next holiday party.
