SHIPPING & RETURNS

PLEASE ALLOW 2-5 DAYS TO PROCESS YOUR ORDER

Once we ship your order, you will receive a confirmation and a tracking number. We ship our products through the US Postal Service or UPS within the continental United States. We carefully pack our products with recycled and/or biodegradable materials protection during transit.

SHIPPING FEES:

FLAT FEE SHIPPING starts at $8 up to $20 depending on the shipping zone/distance from our Brooklyn, NY facility; and applies to any order under $115. Please note we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Please contact us for custom quotes to these areas.

FREE SHIPPING will automatically apply at checkout for orders over $115. 

LOCAL PICKUP* IS AVAILABLE ON MARKET DAYS at our NYC Greenmarket stands. To access this option, add items to the cart, go to checkout, and choose PICKUP from the options provided.

*Pickup orders must be placed in advance by the previous day at 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm, will be ready for pick up the following corresponding day during market hours (see market calendar for applicable days and schedules). Customers receive a notification/reminder the day their order is ready to pick up. If you don't pick up your order on pickup day, a restocking fee of 3.45% of your total will be added.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES:

We do not accept returns or offer exchanges on food products, gift cards or sale items. Shipping and handling are non-refundable.

DAMAGE/BREAKAGE:

If upon receipt, there is breakage, or visible product leakage, PLEASE EMAIL US PHOTOS of the damage and the inside/outside of the box to: info@citysaucery.com so we can process a claim and replacement. PLEASE DO NOT SEND BACK THE PACKAGE, SINCE IT’S LIKELY THAT ONLY ONE OUT OF MANY ITEMS WAS DAMAGED, AND BEING A FOOD PRODUCT, THE CARRIER WILL JUST DISCARD EVERYTHING. DO NOT TAKE ADVICE FROM THE DELIVERY PERSON ON NOT SIGNING FOR THE DELIVERY, NO MATTER ITS CONDITION.

IF WE DO NOT HAVE AN IMAGE OF THE DAMAGE, OR AN ACCURATE COUNT, WE CANNOT ISSUE A REPLACEMENT OR CREDIT. WE NEED PROOF TO SUBMIT TO THE CARRIER TO SUBMIT A CLAIM. We normally respond within 24 hours. If you don’t hear from us in 24 hours, please use our CONTACT FORM since sometimes personal emails are sent to spam by our system.

We are not responsible for any damage to the product after the delivery is completed.

LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES:

If the tracking says that the package was DELIVERED, City Saucery is not responsible for any missing or stolen packages. Please contact the carrier directly for assistance.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

We currently do not ship our products outside the continental UNITED STATES.

SPECIAL OFFERS & SALES:

• Promotional discounts are only available while supplies last. A limited quantity of promotional discounts are available per item. If supplies are still available after all of the promotional discounts have been used, customers may purchase the item at its regular price.
• Orders must be placed before expiration to receive the promotional discount.
• Promotional discounts are good only for specific products featured.

RETURN & REUSE PROGRAM

Turn Your Empty Jars into Savings—One Delicious Step Toward Sustainability.

At City Saucery, we’re proud to offer our Return & Reuse program as a way to reduce waste and keep our glass jars out of landfills. Just like old-school soda bottles, our returned jars are carefully sanitized, refilled, and sent back out into the world—ready to be enjoyed all over again.

Below are the full details, rules, and terms of the program to ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone.

✅ How It Works

  • Return your empty City Saucery-branded glass jars to any of our NYC Greenmarket tables.

  • For each qualifying jar, you receive $1 off your next purchase, on-site and on the spot.

  • There’s no limit to the number of jars you can return at once.
    (e.g. 3 jars = $3 off, 10 jars = $10 off, 20 jars = $20 off!)

📦 What’s Eligible

  • Only City Saucery-branded jars are accepted. No other brands, or random jars, please!

  • All three of our jar sizes qualify: 26oz, 16oz, and 8oz.

  • Jars must be in good, undamaged condition (no chips, cracks, or major defects).

  • Jars may have been originally purchased from us online, at a Greenmarket, or through a retail partner.

  • While rinsing jars before returning is appreciated, it’s not required.

  • Metal caps are not needed and will not be reused.

  • Please leave labels intact—this helps us reuse them more efficiently, but it’s not mandatory.

🚫 What’s Not Allowed

  • Returns by mail are not accepted. Please do not ship jars to us. It defeats the purpose of sustainability due to fuel usage and shipping waste.

  • Non-City Saucery jars. Even if they look similar, we cannot accept them.

  • Damaged jars will not qualify for a discount and will not be accepted.

  • Returned jars are not redeemable for cash. Discounts are applied only toward same-day purchases.

💰 Discount Policy

  • The $1 discount per jar must be used immediately with a same-day purchase.

  • No credit is carried over or stored for future use.

  • If you do not make a purchase on the spot, the discount is forfeited.

  • Discounts are only valid at our NYC Greenmarket tables and cannot be applied to online purchases.

  • Program is available only at official City Saucery Greenmarket locations.

  • Returned jars become property of City Saucery and cannot be returned to the customer.

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time without prior notice.

  • During high-volume periods, we may limit returns temporarily due to capacity or space constraints.

  • Misuse of the program (e.g. fake labels, damaged jars, or return abuse) may result in denial of participation.
