Saucery X Precycle

Earth Day Celebration on 4/20/2024 from 12pm-3pm!

Come join us at Precycle (Prospect Heights) on 4/20/24 and celebrate all things Earth Day.

Precycle is a local shop (Bushwick and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn) who carries City Saucery products and practices Earth Day’s message everyday of the year. Reducing packaging waste is at the core of their philosophy and we think that’s really great. We both believe every customer has the right to know where their food comes from and to be given the choice of reusable instead of disposable packaging.
NO WASTE!

Full-on transparency is the driving force behind both City Saucery and Precycle and one that has proven to be sustainable as well, so you know it works!

We’ll also be having a tasting of our Vegan Tomato ‘Nduja

12PM - 3PM

It’s our “everything sauce” that you’ll want to put on absolutely everything!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED ON EARTH DAY:

Return your used City Saucery jars on 4/20/24 to Precycle (Prospect Heights), or refill that shampoo bottle you recently picked up from this lovely shop and do your part for the Earth!

Why recycle when you can reuse instead? It just makes sense.

Ugly Tomato Sauce

The “ugly” tomatoes that are either too ripe, bruised and oddly shaped are the most delicious. We cook them down for hours and hours turning them into a delicious sauce that you can build on or use 'as is' on pasta, fish, veggies and pizza or any recipe calling for fresh tomato sauce. Ugly, but tasty!

Ugly Spicy Tomato Sauce

As fresh and versatile as the “Ugly Original” but with added heat. The addition of fresh Calabrian chilies gives this sauce the Italian kick that a fresh tasting tomato sauce should have. It’s not a hot sauce but a mildly spicy all-purpose tomato sauce. Ugly, but tasty!
