TO MIX WITH PASTA:
If frozen, thaw completely before serving. Reserve some pasta water (about ½ cup) and mix into the pesto to loosen it up if too thick. The heat from the cooked pasta will loosen it up more as well. Serve and top with with your favorite cheese and more olive oil (optional).SERVE AS A DIP:
Chilled or room temperature with your favorite crudites.SPREAD ON SANDWICHES (self explanatory)
MAKE GARLIC SCAPE BREAD:
Whisk 1 part scape pesto with 1 part EVOO and brush on fresh bread before toasting. -
Upon arrival, refrigerate or freeze your pesto.
Consume within 10-15 days if kept refrigerated, or freeze it for up to 12 months.
