Tomatoes are fruits no matter what the Supreme Court says! So, combining them with strawberries was a very yummy, and very logical, combo. We added some heat with Calabrian chilies that not only tempers the sweetness of the berries but also finishes off the sauce with a robust flavor that’s really unexpected. Try it on pasta with fresh ricotta and a squeeze of lemon or as a delicious gazpacho soup. It’s bizarre, but so berry tasty!
